Cookie Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
This page explains how Cookiestack uses cookies and similar storage technologies — both on our own website and on customer websites where the widget is installed.
1. Cookies on consent.worklinelabs.eu
Our website only uses strictly necessary cookies:
- token — a session cookie that confirms you are signed in to the dashboard. Signing in is impossible without it;
- locale — stores the interface language you chose (Latvian, English or Russian).
These cookies are needed to provide the service you requested, so they do not require separate consent. No analytics or advertising cookies are used on our website without your consent. More details are in our Privacy Policy.
2. How the widget works on customer websites
The widget a Cookiestack customer installs on their website does not set cookies for visitors itself. Instead it:
- stores the visitor's decision (which categories were accepted) in the browser's localStorage under the key cb_consent;
- blocks scripts that set third-party cookies themselves (Google Analytics, ad pixels, etc.) until consent is given;
- after consent, only allows the script categories the visitor approved.
3. Cookie categories
- Necessary — provide basic site functionality (session, security). Always on.
- Preferences — remember language, theme and other visitor settings.
- Statistics — analytics tools that help the site owner understand visitor behaviour.
- Marketing — ad pixels and trackers (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, etc.) used to show relevant advertising.
The specific list of cookies for each customer website is compiled automatically by the Cookiestack scanner and is visible in the site owner's dashboard.
4. How to change or withdraw consent
A visitor to a website using Cookiestack can change their decision at any time via the cookie settings icon that stays visible on the page after the first choice. The stored decision can also be removed by clearing the site data in the browser.
